The role of a diabetes educator is to empower patients with the knowledge and skills required to be confident in diabetes self-management. We recognise that each patient living with diabetes has unique health circumstances and challenges. Our aim is to tailor an individual management plan with achievable goals for every patient.

Our diabetes educator, Teresa Di Franco, has a wealth of experience in managing patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. She is very competent in using the latest technology and treatment options to assist in the self-management of diabetes. She works closely with our diabetes specialist as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that we deliver an integrated and comprehensive diabetes service.
