Dr Joel Tate
Dr Joel Tate graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2000 and underwent specialist training in various tertiary hospitals in Western Australia. He attained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2010, working as a Consultant Geriatrician since this time.
He is highly experienced with areas of interest including:
- Management of Neurodegenerative diseases and Movement Disorders
- Perioperative medicine
- Memory and falls assessment
- Medication reconciliation
- Living well into older age
He is actively involved in the teaching of medical students and junior doctors, including being a state examiner for local medical schools. He has an interest in clinical research with focus on service quality improvement and helping to optimise quality of life.
